Our story
Each herb, from the farm that grows it best.
We don't work with a single farm. Each herb comes from growers who specialise in it, in the part of Egypt where that plant grows best. That way quality is controlled herb by herb, not batch by batch.

Your cup
Five minutes to steep. You choose the moment of the day.
The collection
Two single herbs and two blends.
Start with a single herb if you want to taste it on its own. Move to the blends when you want something for a particular moment of the day.
Why NUBA
What goes into every pouch.
We know who grows it.
Each herb comes from farmers who specialise in it, in the part of Egypt where it does best.
Just the plant.
Whole flowers and leaves. No flavourings, no additives, no sugar.
Made for a slower cup.
Let it steep for five minutes. It tastes better when you're not in a rush.
Questions
What people ask us.
Do they contain caffeine?
No. Hibiscus, chamomile and the rest of our herbs are naturally caffeine-free. These are herbal infusions, not tea.
Where exactly do they come from?
From Egyptian farms that specialise in each plant, chosen for where they grow. The lot printed on the pouch leads back to the harvest.
Are they certified organic?
Not yet. Until we hold a certificate under Reg. EU 2018/848, we won't call it “organic”. When it arrives, we'll publish the number and the certifying body here.
How many cups does a pouch make?
About 28 from the 70 g Hibiscus, 33 from the 50 g Chamomile, 30 from the 60 g blend and 35 from the 70 g blend. Each product page gives the amount per cup.
Any allergens?
None of the products contains allergens subject to mandatory declaration (Annex II, Reg. EU 1169/2011). Chamomile belongs to the daisy family (Asteraceae): bear this in mind if you are sensitive to these plants. Each blend's warnings are on its product page.
How should I store them?
Somewhere cool, dry and out of the light. The pouch has a zip seal and deliberately no window: light fades hibiscus.
Do you sell to herbal shops and retailers?
Yes. There's a separate trade page with formats, terms and a sample request.
